(More customer reviews)My wife bought the monitor during a brief moment of paranoia.Seemed like it couldn't hurt.It's incredibly expensive, but worth it if it can help prevent a tragedy.It turns out that it is impossible to drive while the device is in place.Any time the car slows or stops, it plays an incredibly loud, harsh, mechanical version of "Twinkle, twinkle little star" that could seriously wake the dead.A baby sleeping in that seat won't be for long.When you think about how much you slow and stop during even a short ride, it's easy to see that the alarm can quickly become mind-numbing.It also sticks in the position of thinking there's a baby in the seat even when there's not (there's a pressure sensor that works poorly), so the alarm goes off for no reason frequently until you undo the seat cover and un-stick the thing.We used it for 2 short rides and realized we couldn't take it.We're trying to see if the company will refund the purchase price.
