I just had my base and carseat inspected by representatives from St. John's Mercy Hospital and the Kidsafe organization, and they agreed that this was the easiest and safest base and carseat that they had come through inspection!! It is very easy to install, and it has a level adjuster that you can change as the child grows. I have it in my car (Olds Alero) and it fits fine in the middle.
